Continuously Running BF2 Servers Project

I built 4 new PC's capable of BF2, I have 6 total PC's now, and I might have 2 more in a short while. I'll be adding 5-6 dummy players into the BF2 server each night around 5:00pm. (eastern standard time). I'll add these players all throughout the week-end as well. On the week days I'll be removing the extra players when I'm done playing or around 12:00-2:00a.m. est. I won't remove these players if an active game is still running.

I call this the "Continuously Running BF2 Servers Project"!

I'm doing this, to make it easier for any group of 2 or more RR clan or non-clan players can use our servers without the tight requirements of having 6 players to start the ranked server.

Hopefully, this will have the added benefit of attracting some new clan members to our clan. I also hope it will attract some new "non-clan candidate" players to our server more regularly.

Once the server has gotten back to the higher rankings it enjoyed before AIX server became so popular I'm going to do the mass postings/recruiting project I have posted in our members area.

As I can't afford to run all these PC's, 24/7 any help anyone else would care to offer would be greatly appreciated, especially on the off hours I wouldn't be supplying extra players. I'll supply maybe two in the off hours, if others are willing to supply the other 4 dummy players.

If anyone else would like to help in this continuously running server project, just create an new dummy user and leave him in the server when your not playing. The more players that are in the server the higher the rankings will go and the faster I can do these recruiting projects and easier it will be to recruit new members!

The project has worked for both of our BF2 Ranked Servers. Both servers are now Ranked higher than many competing clan servers.

Our older server is always quite easy to get running and fill!

Our newer BF2 AA server is quickly growing a fan base and is also easy to get running for our clan members. This is double proof this works as the "New AA Server" is only 1 month old and is higher ranked than other older competing clan servers that are 2-3 years old!

Again, this project is doing well, as most clan members and outside players don't wait endless hours getting a "Ranked 6 player" match/game going! This has gotta be far less frustrating and far more fun for all!

However;

We still need more clan members to participate by leaving thier player or a differrent player (dummy player) in when they aren't playing. This would help all of us out when starting up and keeping the servers running. I only have 4-5 extra PC's I can use to do this. When these PC's are stretched accros 2 servers it's hard to keep both running now. We could use 4-6 more extra players from other clan members. This would allow both servers to run more often and would help all members play BF2 versions they are more intrested in playing.

I you do start participating remember to try to place you extra playedr in the server that has the most dummies in it to start with up to 5 players. If one server alread has 5 dummy players or is already running please place your dummy player in the other server. However, any number of extra players (up to 6) in either server is a great help. LEss than a week ago I only had 3 dummies in the SF IO Server and it filled up with players from that on it's own!
