So i go to turn on my computer yesterday, first off after logging in it said preparing desktop, then half my desktop items are missing, my downloads folder is completely emptied, my orb bar has been reset and everything is basically fucked.... any solutions?

If windows is still booting sounds like the user account in windows was corrupted. This can lead missing data, but usually it's still there just disjointed from the user. I would have to see it directly using remote control to fully determine this. Unfortunately I and my parents are in the middle of a move, and this limits my time to nights after 11:00pm. I'll be monitoring but clan members feel free to call me. My numbers are in TeamSpeak at fw4.operadata.com, they are listed in the lobby description on the right.
